Itaflex – Made in Italy

In 2003, Meditalia launched Itaflex, the first fully Made in Italy line of digestive endoscopy accessories. As Italy’s first domestic manufacturer, the company introduced patented, high-quality tools that marked a turning point in national endoscopy development and strengthened Meditalia’s presence in global healthcare markets.

Leviathan Patent

In 2021, Leviathan was introduced, a patented forceps designed for the cold resection of diminutive polyps. It enables the entire procedure to be performed with a single dedicated device, optimizing workflow, reducing procedure time, and providing greater precision and safety in endoscopic practice.

Necrolit Patent

Necrolit, patented in 2021 in collaboration with ISMETT Palermo, is the first device specifically designed for pancreatic necrosectomy. It enhances procedural precision and reduces intervention time. Unique in its kind, it has become a benchmark for advanced therapeutic endoscopy centers.

Holdfinger – Autonomy and Control

Introduced in 2023, Holdfinger enables endoscopists to control both the scope and accessories simultaneously. It increases operator autonomy, simplifies procedures like polypectomy, EMR, and ERCP, and reduces the need for constant external assistance.
