Necrolit - Multiaction catheter for necrosectomy

Necrolit is the first CE-certified device for direct endoscopic necrosectomy (DEN). It is a specialized device that performs simultaneous resection and extraction, reducing procedure time and utilizing a device with high-performance technical features. The device’s multifunctionality is achieved through a double lumen catheter in which two instruments, operated by two separate handles, work separately, and when used alternately, provide simultaneous cutting and retrieval.

Characteristics

Monofilament snare: An ultra-stiff monofilament snare with a diameter of 0,30 mm is engineered with a flat inner surface and a semi-cylindrical outer profile to enhance cutting performance and improve tissue grip. The rounded tip is atraumatic, ensuring safe interaction with necrotic tissue.
Nitinol basket: A specially designed flattened nitinol basket improves the capture of previously resected necrotic tissue. The tipless, atraumatic basket is made of nitinol wires with differentiated elasticity to increase flexibility and enable retrieval of a larger volume of tissue. The snap rotation allows easy detachment of highly adhesive retrieved tissue.
